stands for collaboration.
It also stands for something harder to name: the conviction that a woman's clothes should work as hard as she does without asking her to sacrifice anything. Not elegance for practicality. Not quality for price.
CO was founded by Stephanie Danan, and it took fifteen years to become what it is now.
Before CO, Stephanie spent her career in film and television production; a world built entirely on visual language, on knowing exactly what should be in frame and why. That instinct is still the engine of everything at CO. The restraint of the silhouettes. The precision of the fabrics. The way each piece is designed to move well, not just to hang well. A producer's eye doesn't leave you.
The brand began in a small house in the Hollywood Hills, where Stephanie first imagined what a modern luxury wardrobe could be. The earliest orders were packed and shipped from her kitchen. The stakes, she would later say, had not yet revealed themselves. CO was born in a moment of pure belief, as most worthy things are.
What followed was not easy. Fifteen years of building something slowly, imperfectly, stubbornly through factory trips and financial pressure, through a move from Los Angeles to Paris that renewed everything. In the spring of 2026, CO held its first runway show on rue de Rivoli, facing the Tuileries, on an afternoon that felt like it had been waiting a long time to arrive.
The CO woman is not an archetype. She is a real woman living a full life, and she wants to look exactly like herself while doing it. Every decision at CO; fabric, silhouette, price point, the Essentials program, the Diary starts from that premise. Not what the industry expects a luxury brand to be, but what that woman needs.
CO is based between Los Angeles and Paris. The ease of one city, the rigor of the other. Collections built around a curated wardrobe, not a seasonal spectacle. Thoughtful price points that don't ask you to choose between quality and the life you're actually living. The Essentials program exists for the women who have made CO part of how they dress every year.
This is what CO has always been trying to make: clothes that feel like they already belong to you and still give you the distinction you desire.
